There is no iPhone version. This page covers why, what the fake ones are, and what to play instead.
If you've searched for GoreBox on the App Store and found nothing, you didn't miss it. GoreBox has never been released for iOS. It is on Android and Steam only, and F²Games has been fairly blunt about the reason.
What the developer has said
Back in 2021, F²Games posted that GoreBox probably wouldn't come to iOS because of the cost of publishing on the App Store. That's the $99-a-year Apple Developer fee plus Apple's 30% cut, and for a small studio giving the game away free with ads, the maths didn't work. Nothing since then has changed that position. There is no announced release date, no beta, and no TestFlight programme.
There's a second reason people don't talk about as much: content. Apple reviews games manually, and a title built around dismemberment would have a hard time getting through review even if the fee were paid.
The "GoreBox IPA" downloads are not real
Searches for GoreBox IPA, GoreBox iOS APK, or GoreBox TestFlight turn up plenty of download pages. None of them are the game.
- An APK is an Android package. It cannot be installed on an iPhone under any circumstances, so "GoreBox APK for iOS" is a contradiction.
- An IPA file can only exist if someone compiled the game for iOS. F²Games hasn't, and the source code isn't public, so no one else could have either.
- Sites that ask you to "verify" by installing other apps or completing surveys are running an affiliate scam. The download never appears.
- Config profiles or "enterprise certificates" offered alongside these files give a third party control over your device. Don't install them.
Ways to play GoreBox on an iPhone that work
None of these are native, but they work.
Cloud Android (now.gg and similar)
now.gg runs Android apps in a browser and streams them to your phone. GoreBox has been in their catalogue. It's laggy on mobile data, sessions are time-limited, and the controls are a touchscreen overlay of a touchscreen game, but it is the real app. Search "GoreBox now.gg" and make sure you're on now.gg itself, not a lookalike.
Steam Link or Moonlight from a PC
If you own the Steam version, the Steam Link app on iOS streams it from your computer to your phone over Wi-Fi. This is the best-looking option by a wide margin, and controllers work.
A cheap Android device
A used Android phone or a budget tablet that meets the Android 7.1 minimum will run GoreBox natively for less than the price of most iOS games.

Will GoreBox ever come to iOS?
Never say never, but there's no signal that it's coming. F²Games' focus in 2026 has been the GoreBox 26 rebuild and the separate GoreBox 27 app, both on Android and PC. If an iOS version is ever announced, it will show up on the developer's Discord and X account first. If you see it anywhere else first, it's fake.

Is GoreBox on the App Store under a different name?
No. Apps called "GoreBox" on the App Store are clones using the name. F²Games has no iOS apps.
Can I sideload GoreBox with AltStore or Sideloadly?
Only if an IPA existed. It doesn't.
Does GoreBox work on iPad?
Same answer as iPhone. Cloud streaming or Steam Link are the options.
What about Mac?
The Steam version is Windows and Linux. On Apple Silicon Macs, some people run it through CrossOver or Whisky; it's unsupported and your mileage will vary.
